Wurkin Stiffs

Wurkin Stiffs is a fashion accessory brand that set out to solve a seemingly rudimentary problem, once and for all. The problem? Messy collars. Owner Jon Boos designed and patented the very first magnetic collar stay for men’s dress shirts, and after a successful launch on Shark Tank in 2011, Wurkin Stiffs grew to be multi-million dollar brand.

The Background.

Although the brand launched with great success in the men’s fashion space in 2010, fast forward to 2020 and somewhere along the way the brand lost its personality. For lack of a better word, it was feeling a bit too “stiff.”

Jon was feeling like the brand had lost its true essence… and the real reason he started it in the first place. He felt like there was a disconnect not only from his own personality, but the personality of his core customer. So, he was looking to infuse some personality back into the brand that would shift it out of the high-end fashion accessory space and into the relatable solution-based space.

 
 

The graphic expression of the brand features a series of illustrated “stiffs” that poke fun at the idea of the traditional working man.

Along with their line of magnetic collar stays, Wurkin Stiffs launched a series of new products in 2020 with the goal of expanding their solution-focused product portfolio.
