Foxtrot Seasonal Merchandise

As Foxtrot continues to gain a loyal customer base through their unique product offerings, the development of private label goods seemed like a no-brainer going into 2022. Aside from their in-house development of countless food-based products, they also created a line of merchandise that will be refreshed on a seasonal basis.

Summer 2022

With their marketing theme tying closely to the idea of “summer in the city,” Foxtrot wanted to highlight the kinds of things you can only find in the city — the grittiness, the eclectic mix of people and the mix and match storefront signage reminiscent of another era. Their goal was to create the ultimate lo-fi, effortless merch that felt like it can only come from Chicago… without having to talk about “Deep Dish”.

My approach was to create a series of thoughtfully “undesigned” graphics that put a fresh spin on old thrifted tees with a Foxtrot wink.

Holiday 2022

For the holiday season, Foxtrot wanted to lean heavily into their new tagline “for food people.” The approach was to be overly self-aware of the fact that they are a bit… picky when it comes to their food and beverage selection. Some may say they are a bit obsessed… I mean, coffee is coffee… Right?

Our approach for this direction was to use a style and application that inflated the importance of seemingly ordinary, everyday items. Because who wouldn’t like an embroidered ice cream dad hat?
