Background

Sixth generation hog farmer Sawyer Whistler is pioneering a new way of buying and selling meat. His goal is to change the narrative around the modern meat industry. Moreover, he wants to put the trust back in the hearts of the American consumer. And he’s using social media to help.

For too long, the corporate meat industry has been hush-hush about their practices, leaving a bad taste in the mouths of consumers and casting a negative light on the industry as a whole. We’ve set out to change the narrative.

Honest Meat From Honest Farmers

Farmer Grade is in the business of being 100% transparent when it comes to their products. So, they source meat only from farmers who have a social media presence and who share their day-to-day with their followers online. This creates a uniquely transparent experience for consumers, while also giving farmers a chance to brand their own product.

Since we’re in the business of delivering meat with a story, we figure why not let the meat tell the story for us.

We put our quirky little meat characters in a variety of situations that help reinforce ideas, or simply add a wink to brand touch points. The idea is to infuse a certain level of lightheartedness and add a human element to the brand.
