Woffle Co. is the original charitable dog bed company. Not only do they design and manufacture some of the most stylish, eco-friendly dog beds on the market but for every bed sold, they donate a bed to a shelter dog in need. So you and your four-legged buddy can get a full eight hours knowing there’s a shelter pup out there somewhere sleeping comfortably because of you. That’ll get your tail waggin’.

The Background.

Woffle Co. is the brain child of founder and dog lover, Lauren Colantoni. Before having children, her life’s passion was dogs. She has always had a connection to dogs of all shapes and sizes. In 2017, Lauren and her husband lost their boxer/lab mix, Jake. They were faced with getting rid of all of his things as they moved to another state. When they brought his bed to a local shelter, they were made aware of a bitter reality. Almost all shelter dogs have to sleep on the cold concrete floors because of a shortage of beds. Lauren was heartbroken. Right then and there, she set out to make a change.

A brand dedicated to providing comfort for shelter dogs, and a design-focused, functional bed for dog owners.

 

At its core, Woffle Co. was created to emotionally and physically comfort less fortunate dogs across the world. So it seemed only natural to capture that emotion in the brand expression itself. The logo abstractly mimics the motion of a tail wagging to symbolize the joy Woffle beds will bring to shelter dogs of all shapes and sizes. This mark evolved into a simpler secondary mark that also has the same motion but has also become symbolic of the WoCo. label sewn into each bed.

We continued to expand the brand expression by creating an illustration style that allowed us to further tell the story of Woffle Co. and its underlying objective.
